So many of the words we make rarely ever make it off the page, nevermind splash into the ocean of space between us with the wonder of sound.
Hearing Writing is a sacred almost-monthly virtual writing saloon experiment that offers each participant the opportunity to be heard.
We'll alternate time and space for writing with time and space for reading our own written words aloud, each of us sitting witness to each other.
This coming together allows for a limited number of participants and a minimum of four beings is needed for the monthly virtual gathering to go forward.
$45 per session
(CDN if inside Canada + USD if outside Canada)
Payment can be made via e-transfer (in Canada) or PayPal (outside of Canada) for both options using the email email@example.com.

with Kat Gibson (Lady Gaia), Bryonie Wise and special guest, Don Khalsa
Sunday October 21st, 1 to 4pm
at Fresh City Farms, 70 Canuck Avenue
Sacred gardener, earth lover and educator Kat Gibson and artist, heart alchemist and daughter of nature, Bryonie Wise are coming together again (with special guest Don Khalsa, a multidisciplinary Shamanic practitioner) to invite a deeper kind of listening to the medicine that nature offers in the wild entanglement of the city.
As we tumble into Autumn’s embrace, there is an opportunity to experience the alchemy that this season reflects back to us.
In this workshop, we'll explore the ways in which this particular seasonal shift can invite us into feeling, sensing and knowing our own alchemical processes, even with the buzz of the traffic that surrounds us.
Through a meditative exploration of our relationship to the rhythms, cycles and changes of the natural world around, you’ll be guided into an embodied experience in the garden, opening up to the magic and metaphor of the garden and beautiful and complex landscape that is city living.
All participants will receive a bulb of garlic, some seeds to plant next spring and a special gift from our hearts to yours.

40 days for $40 || November 1st to December 10th
This is a virtual course designed to support the re-activation (or implementation) of a regular writing ritual—it's also a practice of radical self-care.
Following loosely in the blueprint of a traditional sadhana, we will write together for 40 days, creating a body of writing dedicated to healing, in all non-linear shapes and forms.
The ask this time around is fifteen minutes of writing practice a day.
H.I.W.W.A.*, will be delivered to your email inbox, packed with daily recorded meditations, cosmic musings, heart-inspired writing prompts designed to activate the medicine matrix of your own wilderness heart.
You will be encouraged to complete a small piece of writing each of our forty days and I'll offer suggestions and ideas outside of the traditional pen to page method we're all so familiar with to keep us on our toes.
Maybe you'll rise early and sit with morning sun and a mug of something warm or iced—or maybe, you're a night owl and prefer to write by the light of the stars.

Coming together to celebrate our dead is one of the most powerful practices available to us, the living.
Our loved ones continue to light up the sky, and during this sacred ceremony, we'll walk in the foot steps of traditional Mexican ways of honoring our dead, weaving the old in with new ways we co-create, in an evening dedicated to remembering.
Part prayer, part creative practice, please come heart prepared—you'll need:
* photos and/or mementos of your dead ones
* a favorite dish or food offering
* an open heart
