*human is what we are: it’s all medicine
September 1st to October 10th
This is a virtual writing course designed to support the re-activation (or implementation) of a regular writing ritual—it's also a practice of radical self-care and devotion.
By nurturing the growth of supportive practices (such as writing) we are (always) learning and (always) strengthening the foundation of our love.
H.I.W.W.A.*, will be delivered to your email inbox daily, packed with recorded meditations, cosmic musings, heart-inspired writing prompts designed to activate the medicine matrix of your own wilderness heart.
The ask is a commitment to ten to fifteen minutes of writing practice a day. Maybe you'll rise early to write with the sun or write in the wee hours of the moonlight.
However you choose to make this work for you is part of the wonder and all of it is an amplification of our being.

with Bryonie Wise and musician Anita Katakkar
Saturday, September 21st || 6 to 7:15pm at Kula Annex
The Kula community has shown time and again the power of coming together. Of how uniting our breath, movement and stillness is essential to the whole—of how supported we are, even when we think we are alone.
Heart Medicine is a creative collaboration between Bryonie Wise and musician Anita Katakkar. Through a remix of movement and super sonic sound (with a dabble of poetry for good measure) we'll come together for a spell in another honoring of Serah Goldberg.
By donation: $20 || $40 || $60 || all proceeds to Serah for healing
The Alchemy of Autumn
with Kat Gibson and Bryonie Wise
Saturday October 5th | 1 to 4pm
at Fresh City Farms, 70 Canuck Avenue
Sacred gardener, earth lover and educator Kat Gibson and artist, heart alchemist and daughter of nature, Bryonie Wise are coming together again to invite a deeper kind of listening to the medicine that nature offers in the wild entanglement of the city.
As we tumble into Autumn’s embrace, there is an opportunity to experience the alchemy that this season reflects back to us.
In this workshop, we'll explore the ways in which this particular seasonal shift can invite us into feeling, sensing and knowing our own alchemical processes, even with the buzz of the traffic that surrounds us.
Through a meditative exploration of our relationship to the rhythms, cycles and changes of the natural world around, you’ll be guided into an embodied experience in the garden, opening up to the magic and metaphor of the garden and beautiful and complex landscape that is city living.
All participants will receive a bulb of garlic, some seeds to plant next Spring and a special gift from our hearts to yours.

this long weekend retreat is carefully crafted to tune into the deep vibrations of this gritty earth gift.
