HUMAN IS WHAT WE ARE: BE ALWAYS COMING HOME
7:30 am eastern Friday mornings May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; June 12, 19
This virtual writing adventure is designed to support all beings through the ongoing ache and true wonder of earth school.
It also has the potential to help implement, reactivate and/or strengthen a commitment to regular writing (or creative) rituals.
By devoting time and care to the consistency of supportive practices (such as writing) we continue to deconstruct, learn and rebuild the foundation of our love.
The twenty-eighth edition of H.I.W.W.A.* [a hybrid version!] includes: a series of one hour live sessions [aka tiny magical time orbits, woven together with three cool parts: still-write-move] paired with weekly missives [aka: cosmically curated content!] delivered directly into your inbox.
All live sessions are recorded.
Exchange options: $90 for a four pack (you choose which four) $25 to drop in
Payment can be made via e-transfer or PayPal (friends + family option) to humaniswhatweare@gmail.com, in US currency if you reside outside of Canada and CDN currency if you reside within.

MOTHERING CIRCLES \\ FATHERING LINES
11:30am to 1:30pm eastern Sunday May 10 (Mother’s Day) Sunday June 21 (Father’s Day)
Two hour co-practice sessions have proven themselves most powerful in the way acts of coming together sometimes are: points of deep connection, like hello, we are not alone here, friends.
These two magnificent days [Mother’s Day and Father’s Day] can arrive as complex, curious and/or tender, and so, we’ll take the time we need to make space for whatever is present, then spend the good heart of our time writing, collaging, resting, grieving or otherwise creating in shared virtual space.
Exchange: $30 for one or $55 for both
Payment can be made via e-transfer or PayPal (friends + family option) to humaniswhatweare@gmail.com, in US currency if you reside outside of Canada and CDN currency if you reside within.

DEATH CAFE BOOK CLUB at Blue Mountains Public Library in Thornbury, Ontario
Wednesday May 27, 4 to 6pm
Join us for a Death Cafe Book Club Foundation Session with death doula and multidimensional being, Bryonie Wise, who will share a map into the next world (aka the book list and a loose sketch of both the format and intention of these sessions).
An offshoot of the beloved Death Cafe with Be McCarthy, Death Cafe Book Club is an invitation to expand the imagination in relation to how we hold the tender truths of death and dying, as well as nourish a growing body of grief language through the transformational portal of reading.
A combination of illuminated conversation and creative exploration in connection with each book, these sessions offer a safe space to expand our minds and hearts towards the future that is most definitely heading in our direction. The poetry of words is a lifeline in this experience of being human.
Come as you are with a notebook, a pen (or a selection of writing utensils) and a pocket of curiosity.

ENHANCING YOGA NIDRA WITH CREATIVE WRITING TOOLS
October 13, 20, 27 2026 | $195+tax | online via Zoom
Over three sessions and in partnership with a daily guided writing practice, we clear creative channels and activate the powerful matrix of language contained in our own hearts.
Session one: The Myth of Creativity (October 13)
Through a series of curious writing exercises, we get honest about where we are in our relationship to creativity (specifically, writing) and its interconnection to all the ways we’re able show up in the world as facilitators and human beings. From there, we tap the roots of limiting beliefs to help loosen their grip.
Session two: Lean into River, Catch Flow (October 20)
Session two is dedicated to the fine art of imitation. Mirroring offers a profound portal into cultivating a clear hum we learn to identify as our own written voice. We take a look at a few different scripts written by others and practice reworking them on pre-existing bones. ‘Read, write, repeat’ will allow us to flex the imagination and build muscles of trust.
Session Three: Dream Weaving (October 27)
Our final gathering is a culmination of the road we’ve traveled and it’s where things have the potential to get spicy. We collectively resource a list of ingredients to fold into the crafting of future nidrā scripts and investigate the orchestral scale inherent within each of us.
Included:
access to three live sessions (and any slides or visuals used)
accompanying recommendations for continued depth
three weeks of guided creative practice, delivered daily into your inbox
a downloadable pdf of writing exercises to carry with you into the future
real-time recalibration of your imagination station
the opportunity to interact, play and get curious as we open creative channels
confidence in your own ability to craft scripts for nidrā practice
Join us on Instagram live (@taryndiamond @heart_roars) for two fifteen minute practice sessions on September 29 at 7:30am eastern and October 6 at 6:45pm eastern time.
