JOY-GRIEF SUMMER WRITE CLUB

The intersection of joy and grief is the place we decide to gather in. Love might even live there, freely. Bring your tenderness, curiosity, pen, paper and any other art supplies that inspire you. We’ll write, stretch, breathe and share poetry. You don’t have to identify as a writer or creative to join us: you can be you, whoever you are, however you are: every part is welcome.
Each session includes:
a one hour live gathering
one heart-crafted missive
a recording of our time together
Sessions take place at 7am eastern time: September 19

THE PRACTICE OF BEING @ 889 COMMUNITY | TKARONTO, ONTARIO
Saturday September 27, 1:30pm—3:30pm | $70+HST
Being human is often weird, deeply painful and full of tremendous beauty.
When we share intentional time and space within a container of care—bundled in the arms of community—we remember (over and over again, as often as it takes) how the practice of full presence is interwoven with our ability to welcome the future who is heading in our direction.
This offering finds us fresh in a new season and hopes to hold a safe and curious space inside of which we’ll explore multitudes of self expression, all of them poetry in one way or another. Through an intuitive melody of movement (think slow flow meets restoration software), stillness (meditation) and creative practices, we'll clear the channels of our beingness (hello grief, hello frustration, hello feeeeelingggsss), humming a regenerative brightness directly into the heart.
What to bring: wear comfortable clothes that you can move, rest and create in a yoga mat and water bottle any and all favourite creative tools (notebook, paint, pens, markers, etc) something (a rock, feather, photo, poem, etc) for our collective altar (that you’ll take home with you once we’re done) a sense of curiosity and wonder Please note that this experience is open to everyone (even and especially if you don’t identify with being creative).
HUMAN IS WHAT WE ARE: ALL LOVES PROTECTED | OCTOBER 7 TO DECEMBER 14
This virtual Autumnal writing adventure is designed to support all beings through the continued grief of this time in our collective—it also helps re-activate or build an honest foundation for a regular creative practice.
By dedicating attention to the consistency of supportive modalities (such as writing) we continue to learn, deconstruct and rebuild the foundation of our love in a world who needs us both clear and kind.
The twenty-sixth edition of H.I.W.W.A.* includes:
two one hour live practice sessions a week (Tuesdays 11am eastern, Fridays 7am eastern)
two missives a week delivered directly into your inbox
recordings of our one hour sessions
three x two hour co-practice sessions over the course of three months (October 19, November 16, December 14, 12pm eastern)
Three pricing options:
One payment: $400 CAD/USD one time
Three payments: $134 CAD/USD for three months
Drop in: $25 CAD/USD per one hour session, $45 CAD/USD per two hour co-work session

FIELD OF WONDER WITH TARYN DIAMOND + BRYONIE WISE
November 2, January 3, May 3 | $45 +hst each or $125+hst for all three | online through Zoom
Calling in a huge, wondrous, creatively curious constellation!
Our work together begins with creative calisthenics (aka writing exercises).
From there, we'll dip into a guided yoga nidrā practice to continue riding the creative dream-weaving wave beyond the waking, rational mind state. And then, ever so gently, we harvest. We'll slow return flight and complete the fieldwork by gathering any glimmers that emerge from intentional rest.
There's nothing better than diving deep into a field of wonder, while glancing up at a screen full of curious thinkers, also furiously writing in their journals.
Dip into your personal well within the support of community.
Please note there are no prerequisites to this event: you could be a nidrā teacher or a first-timer. Bring your imagination and the rest will unfold!
Join Bryonie and Taryn in a creative writing + daydreaming yoga nidra party!
ENHANCING YOGA NIDRA WITH CREATIVE WRITING TOOLS
October 15, 22, 29 2025 | $195+tax | online via Zoom
Over three sessions and in partnership with a daily guided writing practice, we clear creative channels and activate the powerful matrix of language contained in our own hearts.
Session one: The Myth of Creativity (October 15)
Through a series of curious writing exercises, we get honest about where we are in our relationship to creativity (specifically, writing) and its interconnection to all the ways we’re able show up in the world as facilitators and human beings. From there, we tap the roots of limiting beliefs to help loosen their grip.
Session two: Lean into River, Catch Flow (October 22)
Session two is dedicated to the fine art of imitation. Mirroring offers a profound portal into cultivating a clear hum we learn to identify as our own written voice. We take a look at a few different scripts written by others and practice reworking them on pre-existing bones. ‘Read, write, repeat’ will allow us to flex the imagination and build muscles of trust.
Session Three: Dream Weaving (October 29)
Our final gathering is a culmination of the road we’ve traveled and it’s where things have the potential to get spicy. We collectively resource a list of ingredients to fold into the crafting of future nidrā scripts and investigate the orchestral scale inherent within each of us.
Included:
access to three live sessions (and any slides or visuals used)
accompanying recommendations for continued depth
three weeks of guided creative practice, delivered daily into your inbox
a downloadable pdf of writing exercises to carry with you into the future
real-time recalibration of your imagination station
the opportunity to interact, play and get curious as we open creative channels
confidence in your own ability to craft scripts for nidrā practice
